Betty has traversed a few career changes since graduating from Dartmouth undergrad. She started out in investment banking at William Blair working with fintech and industrials companies that had largely bootstrapped their businesses before selling to PE or strategic buyers and then decided to change courses and join a then-startup called Uber months after the company had launched its (then) second market, New York. She spent a few years building Uber’s NY operations before heading over to Uber Asia to be a part of the initial team launching across Uber China. From localizing product features to figuring out how to acquire the first users in a city that had never experienced the convenience of rideshare, she’s been a jack of all trades.
After several stints in consumer marketplaces, she joined the S28 Capital team to help founders across consumer, fintech, and workflow / business application enterprise SaaS verticals scale their businesses.
